Why Narendra Modi Should Endorse Baba Ramdev?

In the history of India it is first time when any saint has been so popular as Baba Ramdev. Though some of the saints like Asharam ji Bapu, Satya Sai Baba.. have lots of followers but Baba Ramdev has followers all around the world and is known for expertise in Indian way to fitness. Actually Baba Ramdev is bit different from rest of his religious cousins. He never preaches about the God and religious scripts rather he is somebody who is making people realize the potential of the gifts like Yoga and Naturopathy from God. Yoga is something which was invented in India by Lord Shiva and was carried forward by Hindu saints over the centuries. Due to British effect Indians have lost the faith in traditional aspects of our own culture. With Yoga, Baba Ramdev have urged people to look back at their own culture and traditions and have made them realized that power lies within ourselves and within our own culture. This is a big step towards endorsing Indian products and Indian way of looking at the things.
Patanjali which is a completely a Indian organization owned by Baba Ramdev trust has number of natural products which are sold all across the country and people of India has started to prefer them in spite of imported products of Palmolive, Colgate, Garnier etc..




This Swadesi movement which has started as a business in India has started to damage the market for international brands in India which is certainly good for Indian economy. The country's money will not be plundered by these companies and money will retain in the country itself.

Number of attempts have been made to defame Baba Ramdev and destroy this Swadesi Movement but nothing has been able to shake this Yogi and his will power. He has laid the foundation in country where people have started believing in their own potential and have started endorsing Swadesi products.

How this is going to help Narendra Modi? It is a big questions with a small and simple answer and the answer is that Modiji is himself a saint who has practised the similar life style years ago in Himalayas for around 5 years and his own thought process and policies are based on self reliance and non endorsement of westernised essentials. Man whose journey started as a Chai Wala is now doing Chai pe Charcha with masses across the whole country. Mr Modi who is on a verge of becoming Prime Minister of India is getting huge support from Baba Ramdev as his ally who is promoting Indianess in its true form. Country has realized that a man whose principles are typically Indian and whose journey so far has been successful on Desi grounds, can give them a bright future with no bad impact of western culture on them.

Britishers for more than 200 years made Indians realize that we Indians are inferior to whites. This realization was so strong that almost after 65 years of independence Indians have not shown confidence on themselves. But now the time has come. Time has come to tore away US Visa apart and let US citizens stand in line for Indian Visa. Modiji and Baba Ramdev hand in hand can win toughest of battles and can make people realize that what Britishers made them belief was completely wrong and Indians have potential to build a successful nation on Indian Values.
