The PM Chair Got MODIFIED, Who Else Is There In CABINET?

Narendra Modi, one of the prominent leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has been elected as the 15th Prime Minister of India. The man of the nation sworn-in as India’s new Prime Minister on 26 May, 2014, Monday, in a ceremony that took place in Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
The event will hold great prominence in the Indian history has Pakistan’s Prime Minister - Nawaz Sharif also visited the location for congratulating Modi for being selected at the face of the nation. The visit does not come as a surprise for Indians as the visit was planned just after the election results were out. It was the first time in the two nations’ history that a Pakistani Prime Minister as attended the oath taking ceremony of an Indian candidate.





The 63-year-old doesn’t flaunt the landslide election victory, rather he explained his clear focus on his powerful mandate to revive India’s stagnant economy and implement more assertive foreign policy. The invitation to Sharif for the Monday’s oath taking ceremony is a step aimed towards dissolving strained ties and strengthening friendly relations between the nuclear-armed neighbors.
Modi stressed on his promise of reviving manufacturing and investment industry and to bring in millions of jobs for youngsters, who hold optimal qualification but does not find a suitable openings. The clean and efficient chief minister of prosperous Gujarat will now be the face of the nation for the entire world and he promised to deliver his best in the upcoming years.
45 -member Council of Ministers were sworn in along with the Prime Minister of India on Monday, out of which, 24 were elected as Cabinet Ministers and 21 as Ministers of State. Sushma Swaraj got the most prominent place in the Council of Ministers and has been appointed as the head of Ministry of external affairs. Ananth Kumar will be heading all the Parliamentary affairs and will get an additional charge of the chemicals and fertilizer industry.





Nitin Gadkari, Sadanand Gowda, and Venkaiah Naidu were appointed as the supreme powers for — Surface transport ministry and shipping ministry, Railways ministry, and Urban development ministry and parliamentary affairs, respectively. The head of the Women and child development ministry comes in the hands of Maneka Gandhi, while Telecom ministry, and law and justice ministry lies within the hands of Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Smriti Irani, a popular TV actor and Member of Parliament, has been assigned the post of head of the Human resource development ministry and Najma Heptulla will be handling Ministry of minorities. Radha Mohan Singh as Agriculture minister, Piyush Goel as Minister of state power, Prakash Javadekar as Minister of state information & broadcasting, and Rajnath Singh as Minister for home affairs will also help Team Modi to bring their dreams into practice.
Apart from them, some of the other prominent BJP leaders hold significant posts in the Cabinet of ministers as Ram Vilas Paswan(Food and civil supplies ministry), Nirmala Sitharaman (Ministry of state for commerce), and Arun Jaitley (Finance ministry and additional charge of the defense ministry).

The speech by the PM stated that the initial period of the rule will feature steps to be taken for women security, management of International affairs, and creating job opportunities within the nation.
