Home Remedies For Sunburn

Sunburn is a condition  when the skin is overexposed to the ultra violet rays of the scorching  sun , without using any skin protection such as sun block or sun tan lotions .When the skin is more exposed to scorching sun while working outdoors, swimming, skiing, and hiking chances of sunburn increase ,hence sunburn.should never be taken lightly as it is painful and your skin will have an uneven tone due to the burns which are reddish in color. Fair people are at greater risk as compared to dark people.  Here are some easy home remedies that will help in curing sunburn.






Home Remedies for Sunburn
Apply aloevera or vinegar on the affected skin ;it will stop inflammation and pain
Avoid products made from benzocaine, lidocaine ,and petroleum jelly.
Cut fresh cucumber slices and rub them on affected area.
Before taking bath ,add some baking powder to the bath water,this will help to soothe the burnt skin.
Antioxidants like vitamin E and vitamin C are very helpful in curing sunburn.Hence include vitamin E and vitamin C in your diet.
While going outdoors wear good quality of sunglasses and apply good quality of sunscreen creams whose SPF is above 30 or above.Do not use harsh soaps to wash sun burn.
Dip a clean wash cloth in cold milk. Put this over to the burns twice a day.
Gently coat the area with lavender oil.
Mustard oil can be a great way to soothe your skin and to get rid of the itching. Apply this twice a day.
Soak yourself in a warm bath mixed with a cup of vinegar for fifteen minutes.
Combine fresh tomato juice and buttermilk. Put this solution on the affected area for instant relief.
