Amitabh Bachchan and Anurag Kashyap will bring the magic of ‘Yudh’ on Sony Entertainment Television in June 20

Last night, the trailer of the unveiled TV series by Anurag Kashyap was released on Set Max during IPL Finale. Having Amitabh Bachchan as a lead character, the TV series is next in a row of celebrity debut on TV with 24 (starring Anil Kapoor). Amitabh Bachchan is entitled to play the role of Yudhisthir Skarwar, the protagonist. The TV series is considered to be the India's most expensive show in ‘Fiction’ segment and is estimated to cost around Rs 3 crore per episode.

The latest drama series ‘Yudh’ is expected to be aired on Sony Entertainment Television during June 2014 and will showcase a total content of around 20 hours. The entire content will be presented as a daily program, however, the duration of the show is yet to be decided. Anurag Kashyap has played a significant role by accepting to hold on the chair of the creative director for Yudh while Shoojit Sircar has been chosen as the series director. Shoojit Sircar has actively experimented with his directional skills and has also directed some parts of the series as well.The title of the show-Yudh is named after Amitabh Bachchan‘s character and will be showcased as the mini-series on TV.

67th annual Cannes Film Festival 2014

The 2014 Cannes Film Festival will be the 67th annual event that is scheduled to be held from 14 to 25 May 2014 in Cannes, France. The carpets have been rolled out for a lot of famous celebrities including Mike Leigh, Jean-Luc Godard, David Cronenberg, the Dardenne brothers, and Jane Campion, who is the the head of the jury for the main competition section.
