Puppeteer, developed by SCE JAPAN Studio, is a new game developed exclusively for PlayStation 3 users. Finding its roots from a magical puppeteer's theatre, the entire concept of the backgrounds, story, visuals, and characters will introduce you to a strange and fantastic world. The game features a young boy who has been transformed into a puppet using some magical powers and he has to defend himself from the environment that is constantly changing. Offering rich and dark fairytale experience for its players, the game has recorded tremendous success by bagging impressive 80/100 critic rating and 8.5/10 score from users. Some of the amazing features of the game are enlisted below:
The plot uses a 2D side-scroller set within a colorful world
Kutaro collects many heads to replace his own, which was stolen by the Moon Bear King
Kutaro will have more powers and can steal the powerful Calibrus from the Moon Bear King
Kutaro can fly through the air for a longer time
Beware the flames and other pitfalls as they may slow you down
Plots are visualize by deploying realistic physics and motion blur effects
Ensure that you memorize the boss patterns to defeat them without losing your head
The game will take you to many unpredictable and uncertain situations that may lead to utmost excitement. You play as Kutaro and your winning strategy should be directed towards defeating the Moon Bear King, who has usurped the Moon Kingdom. Always remember that if your head gets knocked off by an enemy, then you won’t get extra time to retrieve the same. Maintain equivalent distance, fight like a savior, and get dozens of replacements for your torn off head at each level of the game.

The first level is the most important level for Kutaro as on its completion you’ll be rewarded the Calibrus, a pair of magical calipers that can cut his enemies to shreds. Apart from being a weapon, this feature will act as a means of transportation for the player in whatever direction you choose. Kutaro will be able to fly through the air, if he uses this power to transit in the game. This great gimmick is filled with lots of surprises including a sticky spider web, cutting tapestries to ribbons, grappling hook to tug on stage props, and the props working on basic physics phenomenon.
Sony Computer Entertainment's Japan Studio has once again proved that they are masters in creating incredibly fun and original properties. Puppeteer is designed in such a manner that it urges the player to clear each and every level and help him to find his actual head. Directed by Gavin Moore, this game is worth trying if you’re a fan of fantasy games and want to conquer a battle against a gigantic Moon Bear King. With its high production value and the budget sticker price, the Puppeteer is a must try game for those who love to compete more and more challenging levels.
